As i am a Member of ECO-CLUB at my school (Deepalaya School Kalkaji-ext )
Our school got an award on change makers Rank-5th on Green School Gobar times Awards 2011 from Smt.Sheila Dikshit on 15th July.<Cheif Minister of Delhi,India>
My school wore in there site about this movement that(The Gobar Times Green Schools Award is a platform to acknowledge and reward schools which have adopted the most innovative and effective practices to manage natural resources within their own premises.
Conceptualized by the New Delhi based centre for Science and Environment, it is conducted at the national level every year, with schools from across India participating in the annual awards ceremony.
Students from Deepalaya School Kalkaji Extension were awarded for the position of being one of the top five Change Makers at the Gobar Times Award 2011. The award was given away by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Delhi, Smt.Sheila Dikshit on 15th July.)
